In 2019, we joined forces with a new innovative house construction company Ramotec oy and created an interior design for the Finnish Housing Fair in Kouvola. The Housing Fair is the largest interior design fair in Finland and is held annually. The Kouvola fair attracted 114 000 visitors.
The design project was for a two-storey detached house with unique glass roof elements, and there were eight of them on the upper floor of the house. The glass elements had a significant impact on the interior design, which was implemented in collaboration with interior architect Laura Huusari and Värisilmä Kouvola's designer Minna Hietala.
My main responsibility was decorating and styling, but I was also involved in the decision making for the surface materials and furniture of the house. The styling of the house was designed layered and trendy, but timeless at the same time.
In addition, I was responsible for the communication tasks of the project, such as the social media maintenance.
Many amazing partners were involved in the project, such as Värisilmä, Teknos, Noblessa, Isku, Anno and Woodio to name a few. You can read the full collaboration list on the Talo Korea blog.
